Tips On Reclaiming Unfair Bank Charges

Posted in Uncategorized on April 14th, 2011 by Tommy

A lot of banks often charge us for a lot of things we may or may not know or understand. Most of these charges are classified as bank-hidden charges or charges that are just waived as something bank-related. We may or may not know whether this move is illegal or not but one thing for certain is that most of these are below the belt moves that certainly need to be rectified.

We need to make claims against these unfair bank charges!

First, in order to make a claim we have to understand what bank charges are illegal and what aren’t.

If you find something lacking or suspicious, do ask the bank manager about it and have them explain it to you in terms that you will find it easy to understand. Failure to do so means that they are hiding something.

If you find that it is something that should not be there, do request for a do over or a reimbursement of the payments that you made.

The bank should give out a reply in half a month. If they cannot, urgently go to their office or give them a phone call to ask why.

If they offer something below your compensation threshold, do not accept, or it will be your lose. Consult a solicitor for the next best course of action.
